For most of my career as a graphic designer, worked for an ed-tech start up based in Little Rock, AR called Apptegy. There I designed beautiful apps, websites, and marketing materials for school districts all over the country. For a long time what sustained me was this overwhelming sense of pride in my work, for I knew that by helping school districts across the nation, I was potentially making a difference.
While graphic design may not necessarily be what I desire and need to pay the bills for the rest of my life, I know that it is a way that I can impact people in a positive and uplifting way.
